What it’s about. Die Kriminalpsychologin Helen Hudson wird Opfer eines brutalen Mordanschlags. Sie überlebt, ist danach aber nicht mehr in der Lage, die vier Wände ihres Luxusapartments zu verlassen. Von nun an ist der Computer ihre einzige Verbindung zur Außenwelt. Als 13 Monate später ein Massenmörder umgeht, der mit seinen Bluttaten Vorbilder wie Jeffrey Dahmer oder Ted Bundy imitiert, entschließt sich Helen gemeinsam mit der patenten Kommissarin M.J. Monahan, dem irren Killer ein für alle Mal das Handwerk zu legen.
