What it’s about. Der Student Martin jobbt als Nachtwächter in der gerichtsmedizinischen Abteilung eines Kopenhagener Krankenhauses, sprich: Er passt auf die Leichen Ermordeter auf. Als Martin die Prostituierte Joyce kennenlernt, verrät ihm diese, dass derzeitig ein Serienmörder in der Stadt sein Unwesen treibt. Nach und nach werden die Opfer des Killers in die Pathologie eingeliefert. Von da an häufen sich die unheimlichen Zwischenfälle an Martins Arbeitsplatz. Doch es kommt noch schlimmer: Der Student gerät selbst in den Verdacht, der Mörder der Prostituierten zu sein. Schließlich beginnen sogar seine Freundin Kalinka und sein Kumpel Jens an ihm zu zweifeln. Und auch für den ermittelnden Polizisten Inspektor Wörmer steht bald fest, dass nur Martin der Täter sein kann...
