What it’s about. Der kleine Junge Ichiro hat ein schweres Leben: Seine Eltern haben so gut wie nie Zeit für ihn und er wird ständig von anderen Jungs gehänselt und geärgert. Wenn er alleine ist, fliegt er in Gedanken mit einem Flugzeug auf die Monsterinsel. Dort trifft er sich mit Minya, dem Sohn von Godzilla. Sie sehen zu, wie der große Grüne es mit einem Monster nach dem anderen aufnimmt. Minya möchte auch so sein wie sein Vater, bekommt allerdings immer große Angst, wenn er gegen seinen Rivalen Gabara antritt. Eines Tages aber überwindet er seine Angst und stellt sich entschlossen seinem Widersacher. In der Realität wird Ichiro von zwei Verbrechern entführt. Nun will auch er seinen Mut beweisen und nimmt es mit den Gangstern auf...
