Released in 2004, Dead Meat is an action, komödie, horror and science-fiction film directed by Conor McMahon, running about 78 minutes. “It's not what you eat, it's who you eat!” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. Für Helena (Marian Araujo) wird der Urlaub in der ländlichen Idylle Irlands zur Hölle. Zunächst überfahrt ihr Freund einen Mann, der aber alles andere als Tod, sondern ein Zombie ist. Dann wir ihr Freund auch noch selbst zum Zombie und alle Menschen im Umkreis der Unfallstelle scheinen bereits auch Untote zu sein. Zu ihrem Glück findet sie dann doch noch einige Menschen, die noch nicht zu Zombies geworden sind und gemeinsam versuchen sie sich in Sicherheit zu bringen. Dies ist allerdings gar nicht so einfach, wenn neben einer Unmenge an Zombies auch noch die Verursacher der Seuche hinter einem her sind – BSE kranke Kühe.
