Im "Arabischen Frühling" von 2011 lehnten sich Bürger unterschiedlicher arabischer Staaten gegen ihre autoritären Herrscher auf, darunter auch ägyptische Protestler gegen den Diktatator Husni Mubarak. Die Netflix-Dokumentation "The Square" hat fünf ägyptische Revolutionäre zwei Jahre lang begleitet und zeigt den ideologischen Kampf dieser mutigen Menschen.
