Der Erfinder Rotwang wird von Freders Vater Johann sodann beauftragt einem Roboter das Aussehen Marias zu geben. Die Roboter-Maria soll die Arbeiter aufstacheln, damit das Establishment noch härter durchgreifen kann. Der Plan hat Erfolg.
