What it’s about. Shamoto ist Besitzer eines kleinen Ladens für Tropenfische und hat eine missratene Tochter aus erster Ehe. Als das Töchterlein beim Ladendiebstahl erwischt wird und Shamoto sie abholen muss, lernt er den netten Herrn Murata kennen. Der ist nicht nur selbst Betreiber eines ungleich größeren Fischladens, sondern bietet auch an, die Tochter Shamotos bei sich und seiner Frau aufzunehmen und anzustellen.
