Luciano Stella war ein italienisches Model und später als Tony Kendall Filmschauspieler. Er spielte in über 50 Filmen mehrerer Genres des europäischen Kinos der 1960er, 1970er und 1980er Jahre. Im deutschsprachigen Raum populär ist vor allem seine Verkörperung des Privatdetektivs Jo Walker in sieben Filmen nach der Kriminalromanserie Kommissar X des Pabel-Moewig Verlages.
