Alors que Nicole a organisé un week-end en amoureux avec son mari, une avalanche de fâcheux contretemps vient perturber tous ces beaux plans : un peintre particulièrement envahissant sème la pagaille sur son passage, la mère de François annonce sa venue et celui-ci, pris entre deux feux, craque complètement. C est alors qu une jeune femme que personne ne paraît voir complètement apparaît soudain : c est l ange gardien de François, qui va s efforcer de remettre un peu d ordre dans le couple...
