What it’s about. Land se déroule au Nouveau-Mexique, dans la réserve indienne de Prairie Wolf et ses alentours. C’est l’histoire de trois frères appartenant à la grande famille des DenetClaw. Raymond, l’aîné, est un alcoolique repenti. Il travaille dans une exploitation de gros bétail pour nourrir sa famille. Wesley, le second, côtoie quotidiennement la population blanche aux abords de la réserve, surtout Sally, propriétaire d’un bar où il boit tous les jours. Floyd, le plus jeune de la fratrie, se bat sur le front afghan. Alors qu’un officier de l’armée américaine annonce à la famille la mort de Floyd, Wesley est passé à tabac par une bande de jeunes et tombe dans le coma. Raymond décide de le venger.
