What it’s about. Gretchen, 17 ans, quitte à contrecœur sa maison américaine pour aller vivre avec son père, qui vient d'emménager dans une station des Alpes allemandes avec sa nouvelle famille. En arrivant dans leur future résidence, ils sont accueillis par M. König, le patron de son père, qui s'intéresse de façon inexplicable à Alma, la demi-sœur muette de Gretchen. Très vite, Gretchen est tourmentée par des bruits et des visions étranges...
