What it’s about. Will Randall, éditeur new-yorkais vieillissant et velléitaire, est sur le point de se faire renvoyer par son nouveau patron. Sa femme, Charlotte, le trompe avec un jeune arriviste qui convoite sa place. Lors d'un séjour dans le Vermont, Randall est mordu par un loup. Une péripétie dont les effets s'avèrent rapidement curieux. L'éditeur sent tous ses sens s'aiguiser et sa combativité revenir. Sous l'oeil fasciné de la fille de son intraitable patron, Laura, Randall reprend du poil de la bête, s'impose en force dans son travail, mord son rival puis, une nuit, se change carrément en loup. Le lendemain, il n'en garde aucun souvenir. Par ailleurs, une vague de meurtres ensanglante la ville...

How it landed. With an audience score of 6.1/10, Wolf has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $131M at the box office.
