The Earth (1991)

For some reason, Ryohei, an elementary school student, is interested in garbage trucks vehicles and starts helping his uncle. At first, his classmates and family members are sceptic to this behevior but become hearty with time due to his single-minded attitude, and come to lend a hand without question.
