Seaside Climate became the first bright piece of postmodernism in Latvian cinema. The film production was suspended in 1974, thus closing Latvian cinema from the world and restricting its artistic freedom. This is the 1992 Studio "Trīs" film director's version after the 1974 discontinued film material.
